Backspace [augmented] is one of the most original groups on the european stage of improvised music. The band members mix the acoustic sound of the accordion, violin and cornet with all the possibilities given by modern technology. Their music is filled with improvisation, interaction and dialogue. They use electronic effects, live sampling, and even everyday objects to create unique sound and their own musical language.

„The integration of instruments with electronics allows us to create a sound that would be impossible to obtain on acoustic instruments – it gives us a huge range of colours, with which we can build the atmosphere and space, express emotions, open the door to new areas of music. We devote ourselves to improvisation – each new sound tells us what will be next – we make our music »here and now«, so that every concert might become an extraordinary and unique music performance.“
