A group from Wrocław which merges jazz traditions with contemporary sound. Freeway Quintet won the Andrzej Jakóbiec award for the best jazz artist at 2009 FAMA Festival in Świnoujście, as well as 1st prize for Piotr Szwec at 46th Jazz nad Odrą Festival and the audience award for Piotr Szwec Quintet at 2012 GETXO JAZZ FESTIWAL in Spain.
Piotr Szwec - Born in 1987, alto and soprano saxophonist. Graduated with the highest grade of the Academy of Music in Wroclaw at Department of Jazz. He also graduated from the University of Technology in Wroclaw in the Faculty of Information Technology and Management (Computer Science). Winner of numerous awards in most prestigious jazz competitions in Poland also abroad. The most significant:
1st Prize in 2010 and 2nd Prize in 2013 at the Jazz on the Oder Festival in the competition for the Individuality of Jazz, Distinction in Jazz Improvisation Competition in Katowice in 2013,Individual Award at the Jazz Juniors competition in 2010,Audience Award at the Getxo Jazz Festival 2012 in Spain (playing slide against Mike Stern / Richard Bona Band), Special Award at the Bielska Zadymka Jazz 2013 with Szwec & Wendt Quintet, 2nd Prize at the RCK Pro Jazz Festival in Kolobrzeg 2012roku with Tomasz Jędrzejewski Quartet, 2nd Prize in Krokus Jazz Contest with Tomasz Jędrzejewski Quartet, 3rd Prize in Azoty Tarnów Jazz Contest with Tomasz Jędrzejewski Quartet in 2012, 2nd Prize in the solo category at Azoty Tarnów Jazz Contest.

Krzysztof Kowalczyk - Woodwind multi-instrumentalist (saxophones, clarinets, EWI, duduk). Creates and records music to many cultural events – theater, movies, series, musicals. Works with bands who play almost every kind of music – from classical music, sung poetry (Konrad Pawicki) to jazz, reggae, balkans (Bubliczki) to pop, soul, house (live act). Waiting for engagement in a metal band.
Marcin Kużdowicz - Guitarist, composer and music producer. Winner of numerous awards, including awards for the „IVth TVP Kultura Festival NIEMEN NON STOP”, 2nd Prize at the Jazz Juniors Jazz Festival in Cracow and many others.
It is a versatile musician, especially interested in improvisation and exploration of unconventional sounds. Famed from such as bands: Freeway Quintet, Soundrise, Flying Moses, Soundrise – contemporary interpretations of the music of Czeslaw Niemen (from the album „Songs of Czeslaw Niemen” released from the label Lou & Rocked Boys).
Paweł Urowski - Double bassist, bass guitar player and composer. Graduate of the Music Academy in Wroclaw at Department of Jazz.

- An individual award at the VII International Jazz Festival 2008 Krokus.
- 2nd Prize at the Jazz Juniors in 2008.
- 1st Prize at the II EIM in Żyrardow in 2006.
The 7th place (64 votes) at the Jazz Top 2008 Jazz Forum magazine for bass.He has recorded 11 CDs including the album „Dziki Jazz” which was nominated to prestigous Fryderyk Award 2010 in the category Phonographic Jazz debut of the year. In 2013 he received a scholarship Mayor of Bydgoszcz. From 2012, he has worked at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. Feliks on Department of Conducting, Jazz and Music Education. He regularly cooperates with: Maciudziński & Urowski Project, Akineton, Ecstasy Project, Wide Point.
Wojciech Bulinski - Drummer, graduated of the Music Academy in Wroclaw in the classroom of Dr. Dariusz Kaliszuk. So far has worked with such artists as Piotr Wojtasik, Grzegorz Nagorski, Dante Luciani, Mack Goldsbury, Reggie Moore, Francesco Angiuli, Titilayo Adedokun, Maciej Fortuna, Stan Borys, Leszek Cichoński Mikromusic, NeoNówka Cabaret and many others. Winner of numerous awards at jazz m.in: 1st Prize at the Jazz Juniors in Cracow in 2009, 3rd Prize at the Krokus Jazz Festival 2009 in Jelenia Gora with Lena Romul Quintet, 3rd Prize at the Tarnów Jazz Contest 2009 with Bartosz Pernal Quintet. Currently working with: Lov, Magdalena Zawartko and as a session musician in many musical projects.
