The trio has performed more than 100 concerts since it was created in October 2013 in Lausanne, Switzerland. They have also taken part in various festivals, such as: Jazz à Vienne, Paris Jazz Festival, La Défense Jazz Festival, Jazz à Orléans, as support for Wayne Shorter Quartet na Cully Jazz 2016, Jazz Onze Plus czy Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and won the 1st prize at La Défense Jazz Festival Competition 2016 in Paris and Jazz à Vienne Competition 2017.

This May they released their third (after „More Than Ever” from 2015 and „Unexpected Things” from 2016) album entitled „The Colours You See”.

Jazz pianist Gauthier Toux was born in Chartres, France, in 1993. He started studying music at age 8 in the Yamaha schools of music before moving on to classical piano at the Chartres conservatory. In 2006, he met Antoine Delaunay and Jean-Jacques Ruhlman and studied with them until 2011. In September of that year he was admitted to Lausanne’s music college (Haute École de Musique) and majored in jazz performance. He graduated in 2015 with a Master in jazz performance and in 2017 with a master in musical Pedagogy. He studied under Emil Spanyi, Matthieu Michel, and George Robert. During his years of training, he also studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark under Baptiste Trotignon, Franck Avitabile, and Benoit Sourisse. Gauthier has also won awards at the Monaco Jazz Soloist Competition, the Piano Forte Jazz Competition, and the Nottingham Piano Solo Competition.

In his still young career, he has already played with many bands – groups like Maxence Sibille, the Kenneth Knudsen Orchestra, World Citizen Band, Dave Liebman, Julien Herné, Christophe Panzani… And he has played several venues, notably, the Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, Jazz B in São Paulo, B-Flat in Berlin, the Maroquinerie in Pari, Cully jazz festival, Beyrouth, Marostica Jazz club…
