Gniewomir Tomczyk / Project

Gniewomir Tomczyk is a new face on Polish music market but a very experienced one. That's why it's high time for him to appear on Jazz in Ruins festival. And there will be a special guest - Piotr Schmidt.

Gniewomir Tomczyk - the founder of “Gniewomir Tomczyk / Project”, working in the band Xxanaxx, cooperating with the producer Min T, the vocalist Patrycja Zarychta and the creator of film music Daniel Bloom.

The sound of this project oscillates between jazz and electronics. The band gets their inspirations from such musical genres as: jazz, avant-jazz, drum'n'bass, dub, trap or ambient. Next to expressive jazz solos, we can hear various sound spaces rooted in current music trends: strong electronic beats, rap or sharp neo-soul vocal.
