The Quintet was established in Poznań in 2016. Soon after their music adventure began, they won an award during Freedom Jazz 2016 festival in Sopot, where they got to the top-five and became favourites of one of the jury members – Michał Urbaniak. The band's music is rooted in ethno jazz but it still changes and expands thanks to various inspirations.
