To say it’s a collective improvisation  would be definitely  not enough. A powerful merge of freshness, energy, groove with experiment associated with   contemporary avant-garde music  of the twentieth  century.  From the tones on the edge of audibility, through sonoristic saxophone  up to furious sound attack. From chaos to strong groove. And it’s all with polyrhythmic attitude of drums.  It wasn’t the easiest proposition of the festival, but was played with such an energy and freshness that has won over the sympathy of those, who prefer a bit more funky or soul sounds.  The fact that it was one, breathing musical organism only helped.

The Love And Beauty Seekers is a Polish trio from Copenhagen. The band is playing open compositions with a lot of space for improvising and unpredictability. The Love And Beauty Seekers are on quest of finding love and beauty and expressing it through their music. The group is formed  by Jędrzej Łagodziński (tenor saxophone), Fanciszek Pospieszalski (double-bass) and Szymon Gąsiorek (drums). In the case of the last one it’s worth to mention that he uses a kaoss pada, which moves the music of the group towards an electrionic sound. And it’s simply an acoustic trio …
