There were two concerts during the second day: P.G.R. &Zilberman and The Oleś Brothers & Christopher Dell. The photo relation was made by Stanisław Zaremba and Wojtek „Czarny” Kibitlewski.

P.G.R. is the result of Grzegorz Rogala`s fascination with hasidic music, Polish folk music and his studying abroad. While being in Boston, he managed to fulfil his music ideas with his university friend, Sagit Zilberman – an Israeli saxophone player, who was a special guest during the concerts in January 2010. The project is patronized and sponsored by a famous jazz university, Berklee College of Music. The members of the band may bear a resemblance to J. Zorn`s Masada and the music is a combination of folk and jazz with a bit of musical pastiche and Latin American rhythms. We found out that Sagit has Polish ancestors: her great-grandmother lived near Lviv and she sewed soldiers` uniforms before World War I. As we can see, the military interests are genetic: Sagit used to be an officer in the Israeli army.

Grzegorz Rogala – trombone,
Sagit Zilberman (Israel/NY) – alto saxophone,
Łukasz Borowiecki – double bass,
Cezary Konrad – drums.

The second concert was the joint project of the Oleś Brothers and Christopher Dell. One of the best rhythm sections both in our country and in Europe played together with one of Europe`s leading composers and and musicians (vibraphonists), who is also a philosopher.

Marcin Oleś – double bass,
Bartłomiej Brat Oleś – drums,
Christopher Dell – vibraphon.
