Adam Jarzmik Quintet is a five-person band founded in 2015 in Katowice. The band presents their own music, the composer of which is the band leader Adam Jarzmik. In their compositions inspired by the music of jazz giants such as Brad Mehldau, Aaron Parks or Aaron Goldberg, there is a breath of fresh air on the Polish jazz scene.

In the spring of 2017, the first, debut album entitled "Euphoria" was released by the label "Audio Cave". The next, second album "Live at Radio Katowice" was released in the summer a few months later in cooperation with the JazzForum magazine. The band has performed in Russia, Spain, Lithuania, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Poland, among others. The result of winning the Grand Prix at the 53rd Jazz Nad Odrą Festival was an AJQ concert with the world-famous guitarist Mike Moreno with whom he recorded his third author's album "On The Way Home" and played an extensive tour promoting the album.
