Jazz in Ruins 2013 is launched. With a poster that will glow in the dark (due to the fluorescent paints used). We will start with one of the hottest line-ups of young Polish jazz, which ... was particularly appreciated abroad. I am talking about High Definition led by Piotr Orzechowski "Pianohooligan". During the festival, she will have the premiere of Dominik Bukowski's new quartet, to which he invited Sri Harunaga, an outstanding and successful pianist from Indonesia. Another debut during Jazz in Ruins is the latest project by Łukasz Krerzewicz - Silberman New Sextet. This year there will be a very funky team from Germany. I am talking about the Mo` Blow group. Young German rifles. The festival will end with a debut which will be officially launched on the market, i.e. Next Generation, either just before or just after the festival. The Next Generation is a unique band, created by the children of Polish jazz giants, from whom they inherited not only their love for music, but also talents. Apart from the concerts, there will of course be workshops and an exhibition of graphics. Poster exhibition, which includes the works of lecturers and students of the Department of Graphic Design of the Institute of Art of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn.
