Vladimir Tuzov - Hammond organ,
Vladimir was born in Latvia, Riga in 1982 in average soviet engineer family.
His acquaintance with the music was started when he was 3 Y.o. He took first piano lessons at age of 5. He was able to play only the classical music. Despite his university degree in law, the music always has been Vladimir’s passion of life. It took a great part of his live. After the university studies, he found the interest in pipe organs as well as in other types of organs. Few years ago, in 2008, Vladimir purchased the Hammond XK 3 organ. It`s a digital copy of Hammond organ made by Suzuki. It`s difficult to get traditional B3 or C3 or other type of Hammond organ in Europe, specially in Latvia.
Now he has solid experience in playing different kinds of keyboards/organs including the pipe organ. As for music styles, he is technically fluent in blues, jazz, soul, and funk.

Vladimir is owner of private collection of some vintage organs like: Hammond Aurora,
Wersi Helios, Yamaha YC 45D, Weltmeister TO200, Honer -Wulitzer GP98.
Also he uses Yamaha S 80, Korg MicroX, Roland XP 80, Kawai K1 and Studiologic VMK 188 midi/USB controller.
During the workshop, Vladimir will tell about the history of Hammond organ and Leslie speaker, notable Hammond users, technical aspects of playng organ in various music genres and how to get different sounds from instrument.


Raivo Stasans - saxophone,
Raivo Stasans is the professional sax player from Riga, Latvia. He plays all kinds of saxophones (soprano/alto/tenor), flute and clarinet in groups and projects with different music styles: jazz, classic, rock&roll, pop, dance e.t.c.. Raivo plays regularly in festivals and concerts all over the world.

In 1995, Raivo successfuly finished classical music studies in Latvian Music Academy (saxophone class). In 2011 he got Master degree in jazz saxophone playing.
During ‘90s Raivo was playing in “Latvian Radio Big band”. Nowadays, his main collective is “Mirage Jazz Orchestra”, the big band of former Radio Big band members and the other great jazz musicians. Raivo has been working as a session musician on many recordings of different styles. He also appears regulary on TV performances and radio shows as well. From last year starts to record solo CD.

During the workshop Raivo will tell about the history of jazz and big bands in Latvia, aspects of playng saxophone in different styles of music in small/big ensembles and about his personal professional experience in music industry.
