Essential Group is a group of friends – students, graduates and lecturers of the best music academies in Poland (Katowice and Cracow).
In 2015 the band became a laureate of the 39th International Jazz Juniors Festival, where their music was noticed and appreciated by international jury.
In April 2014 they released their first album “Simple Stories About Hopes and Worries” under the patronage of Jazz Forum, JazzPress, Polish-Jazz, and Jazzsoul.pl. The album was very well received both by critics and listeners.
They aren`t afraid of new challenges and experiments and they have performed with a lot of brilliant musicians, such as Piotr Wojtasik, Adam „Szabas” Kowalewski, Dániel Varga (Hungary), Agnieszka Musiał or Michał Sobierajski, awarded in The Voice Of Poland.
