The project was established in 2010 by professional musicians who shared a passion for creating innovative, original and diverse music. In 2014 the band was enriched by unusual, South American sounds of percussion instruments: conga and guiro, played by a Colombian musician Edi Sanchez.

The band creates broadly defined Latino American music: Cuban and Brazilian salsa, Afro-Cuban music, bossa nova and Latin jazz, mixed with funk and modern jazz. Their commitment, individual approach, sense of humour and positive energy make every performance an energetic, unique and unforgettable experience.

Special guest – Edilson Sanchez

Edi was born in 1972 in the Colombian capital Bogota. His first musical instrument was an acoustic guitar – a present from his father, who was an enthusiast of Mexican music. Together with his closest friends, William Rojas and Alberto Beto Garcia, Edi established his first band Tiempo de Jazz and they made their stage debut in 1996 during Jazz al Parque, the first jazz festival in Bogota.

Edi has also performed with legends of Colombian jazz stage: Séptima Especie, La Moderna and Garujazz and has cooperated with various talented musicians such as Paul Votteler and Ricardo Barrera. In 1998 he finished his music studies at university in Bogota and wrote a thesis focused on 'porro' – a traditional Colombian folk musical style.

Thanks to his talent and growing experience, Edi soon began collaboration with various projects and bands. Together with K-YO reggae band he has performed throughout Colombia and also in different countries, which finally brought him to Poland. While on tour in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, he met a Polish girl Anita...

– I had previously connected Poland mainly with Chopin. Yet, the Slavic charm and the tales about this country made me want to come here and see it for myself – says Edi.
