It was an unusual day of the Festival – the day of audiovisual projects. The audience was able to see and hear a different kind of jazz that caused many emotions. The first project was created by the group “Tutaj”: Belarussian folk music merges with uneven oriental rhythms and guitar phrases mix with drum`n`bass beats. The music develops emotions gradually, using the whole range of expression: from silence and the faintest rustles to deep and energetic sound. It`s also accompanied by a visual comment.

Bartosz Nazaruk - drums

During the second concert, we could enjoy “Spejs”. The music of the band becomes a new standard. That`s a result of many suggestions, listening to each other and observations of the musical action.  It joins free yass and all kinds of electronic music. The sound structure is accompanied and deepened by visualisations created spontaneously by Vj Spontaneity. The concert is a presentation of an audiovisual creating process placed in real time. Tomek Glazik couldn`t take part in the concert but was replaced by Mads Johansen. There were other Norwegian musicians who played during the concert: Sebastian Gruchot on violin (a student of Jan Bang) and Audun Ramo on double bass and bass guitar. Both of them have become the regular members of the band.
